TECHVICON #26: Controlling “desires” in the workplace

On November 27, TECHVICON #26 was held on the topic of controlling “desires” in the workplace. Under the guidance of Speaker Dustin Giang from G1, the program brought new content with a unique presentation, attracting the participation of 24 Techvifers from various departments.

At the event, Speaker Dustin shared about the “desires” often encountered when working in the office such as surfing the web, social media, playing games during working hours or gossiping, eating and drinking with colleagues when the work is not done. “These are the “desires” that arise from not knowing how to manage time, causing the work to always lag behind, reducing productivity and personal value of everyone. Therefore, in this TECHVICON issue, I want to give Techvifers a way to evaluate the necessity of every activity and how to schedule time effectively”

To solve the problem, the program introduced skills such as setting SMART goals, focusing principles, prioritizing principles in work and daily activities. At the same time, it brought tools to help manage time effectively, such as planning and setting clear goals, creating a suitable schedule, adhering to the schedule, recording results and evaluating improvement.

The program brought many activities and discussion questions like a group study session. Techvifers connected and came up with solutions to the situations posed. “I participated in many TECHVICON issues before, but this time, my colleagues and I interacted and discussed with each other the most.
